Sachin Tendulkar crossed 34000 international runs

Needing just two to reach the 34,000 mark, Tendulkar got there with a single off Monty Panesar in the third Test between India and England on first day. Tendulkar is playing his 657th international game here.
Tendulkar is the leading run scorer in both Test and One Day Internationals. He also is the first man to score 100 international hundreds, which he reached in March this year.
The Master Blaster is way ahead of recently retired Ricky Ponting and Jacques Kallis.
Ponting ended his international career with 27,483 runs. Kallis has 25,144. Rahul Dravid is fourth on the list with 24,208 runs. Sri Lanka captain Mahela Jayawardene is fifth with 22,708.
